Use textbook to better understand the Three Estates in France during the 18th century.
Need to explain and describe the image ( 4-5 lines long = good answer).
From the picture below, explain its meaning and its relation to the French Revolution.

It shows the French First Estate and Second Estate relying very heavily upon the Third Estate. In France during the French Revolution the First Estate and the Second Estate didn't have to pay taxes only the Third Estate did. :)

The cartoon shows that the French Revolution was caused by anger among the Third Estate over their place in French society. The cartoon shows the Third Estate carrying the other two estates on its back. This symbolizes how the other two estates essentially lived off the work of the Third Estate and did not allow the Third Estate to have much in the way of rights.

before the revolution the French people were divided into 3 groups.the 1st estate consisted of clergy,2nd estate of the nobility, the 3rd estate of the bourgeoisie, urban worker, and peasants.legally the 1st two estates enjoyed many privileges, particularly, exemption from most taxation.

This picture shows the third estate carrying the first and second estates on its back. This shows us how the first and second estates essentially lived off the work of the third estate . This is because the third estate had to pay taxes , while the other states didn't!

the peasant is given the lord a pigback. the 3 estates is doing more work and the lord is doing nothing. That's unfair because all the lord has to do is put more taxes on the people. e.g the stamp act that started the American war . I don't think its fair because the peasant has to do more work.

the third estates piggy backing the first and second estate because he has to do more work than the first and second estates. the third estate has to pay taxes whereas the other estates didn't have to. this was not fair because the third estate have to do more work while getting less money in return.

This picture shows the Third Estate carrying the other two estates on its back. This means the other two estates relied on the work of the Third Estate. The Third Estate had no rights by not getting paid for all the labour. :)

This picture shows that the first estate and the second estate were coming together and sitting on the backs of the third estate. That the third estate had to pay taxes while the other two richest estates did not have to. No i do not think it is fair because they should have to give equal amount of taxes.

this picture that i can see is about the 1st and the 2nd estate on top of the 3rd estate which means that the 1st and 2nd estate are wealthier than the 3rd estate which also means that the 3rd estate are POOR

It shows the French First Estate and Second Estate relying very heavily upon the Third Estate. The first and second estate didnt pay any taxes so they had to rely on the third estate to pay taxes ,they were taking advantage of the third estate
